Cliff edge retreat

A small but by no means insignificant building is a retreat resting high above the sea on the cliff edge.
It emerges as a continued harmonious extension of the existing garden wall. It is a perfect place for the garden party, quiet contemplation retreat or picnic shelter. The masterfully hand-crafted led roof and its supporting structure are designed to withstand the high seaside winds. When the glazed screens slide either side of the corner, the interior opens to the elements, merging the internal space with external terrace. The new terrace with glazed balustrade slightly overhangs the cliff, creating an exhilarating feeling of flight above the sea when standing close to the balustrade.
